Who We Are
Stan Perea is the executive director of HIS Ministries, a nonprofit organization formed to assist priests, pastors and their congregations in dealing with the New America.
Since its inception, HIS Ministries has expanded to include training for school districts, businesses and non-profit organizations.
HIS Ministries provides training for organizations in understanding the changing face of America, brought about by the dramatic increase of Hispanic and Asian populations.
Stan is currently training the boards, administrative staff, principals, and classified staff of several school districts on understanding cultural differences and engaging parents in their children's education. He also is a featured speaker at conferences, annual meetingsand other gatherings.
For a number of years, Stan served as director of urban ministries for the United States and Canada for the Reformed Church in America, helping to oversee the ministries of 218 urban churches.
Prior to his pastoral experience, Stan practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for many years and has maintained his relationships and connections with much of the business community.
He has been quite active in the Hispanic business community as a founder of several Hispanic chambers of commerce, including the U.S. Hispanic Chamber.
Stan recently authored the book The New America: The America of the Moo-Shoo Burrito, which deals with the changes to all facets of our lives in America, brought about by the Hispanic population explosion. |
